Privacy.
No cookie, no analytics, no account. Here is the little the site does handle.
What we don't collect
Foundry44 sets no cookie, runs no analytics or advertising, loads nothing from another site, and asks for no account or personal detail. The fonts, photos and videos are served from this site.
In your browser
A few display choices stay in your own browser (its local storage), so the site remembers them: the tab you opened on a component page, your package manager, the colours you set in the styleguide, the colours you try a component in. They never leave your device, need no consent, and go when you clear the site's data in your browser.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc.. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, it handles technical data every visit sends, such as your IP address and browser, under its own privacy policy. We do not use that data to follow or profile visitors.
If you write to us
When you write to hello@foundry44.dev, we use your address and message only to answer you, and delete them once they are no longer needed for that.
When you buy Pro
Pro is not on sale yet. Once it is, buying it is the one thing on Foundry44 that needs personal data:
- Payment. Stripe sells Pro through its Link service and handles the payment, your card and your invoice under its own privacy policy. We never see your card; Stripe tells us your email address, what you bought, when, for how much and from which country.
- Your account. Your email address, to sign you in with a link sent by email (through Brevo, a French service that keeps its data in the European Union) and to tell you about what you own.
- What you take. Each time code leaves your account: which component, when and by which route. It decides whether a refund is still open and guards the licence.
We use this data to deliver what you bought, apply the terms of sale and the Pro licence, and nothing else: no advertising, no resale. We store our copy in the European Union and kept while your account exists, then the record of your purchases for 10 years, as French accounting law requires.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you: write to hello@foundry44.dev. If you think your data is mishandled, you may complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
