Licence.
The free components are yours to use under the MIT License, in any project. Everything else on Foundry44 belongs to Foundry44.
In short
- Free components. MIT License, for their code: use, change and ship them in any project, commercial included. Keep the licence notice in the code you copy; no credit on the page.
- Pro components. Under the Pro licence that comes with each purchase: one person, all of their projects, client work included.
- Demos. The pages that show each effect are not part of the component: all rights reserved.
- Name and logo. Not covered by any licence: see below.
Free components
These 9 components are under the MIT License: their engine, their stylesheet and every format generated from them (React component, script, embed, AI prompt).
MIT License
The text every free file carries. Keeping it, with the copyright line, in your copies of the code is the licence's one condition.

Demos and the rest
The demo pages (their scenes, layout and texts), the Pro components, the videos, this site and its texts are Copyright (c) 2026 Foundry44, all rights reserved, except what the Pro licence grants a buyer. A zip carries its demo so you can see the effect: build your own page around the component rather than reusing ours.
Name and logo
The Foundry44 name and logo identify our work. They are not registered trademarks, and the MIT License, which covers code only, gives no right to them.
- You may use the free components without naming us; say a project is built with Foundry44 components and link to this site; write about Foundry44 in articles, reviews, tutorials and comparisons.
- You may not name a fork, product, library, package, domain or account “Foundry44” or something close enough to be mistaken for it; use the logo without our written permission; suggest that Foundry44 made, endorses or supports your project when it does not.
If you change a free component and share it, give it your own name; keeping the MIT notice is not a use of the name. To ask for a permission, write to hello@foundry44.dev.
Work by others
Not ours, and not under our licence: each keeps its own.
- Fonts. Funnel Display and Funnel Sans (Copyright 2024 The Funnel Project Authors), Fragment Mono (Copyright 2022 The Fragment-Mono Project Authors), under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Its full text travels with the fonts in every zip.
- Photos. The demo photos come from Unsplash, under the Unsplash License: each zip credits its photographers.
- Icons. The site's icons are Iconoir (Copyright (c) 2021 Luca Burgio) through
iconoir-react(Copyright (c) 2021 Daniel Martin), under the MIT License. The components carry no icon.
