Pro licence.
One licence is one person, on all of their projects, client work included. It comes with every purchase of Foundry44 Pro.
In short
- You may use the Pro components you own in any number of your projects, personal or for clients, sold sites included, change them as you like, and give them to your AI assistant to do it. No credit to give.
- You may not resell or redistribute them, put them in a template, a UI kit, a component library or a course, publish them in a public repository, share your access, or use them to build or train something that makes components for others.
- It lasts for good. The licence does not expire, and fixes and new versions of what you own come at no extra cost.
Who it covers
The licence is granted to one person: the one who bought it, or, when a company buys it, the one person it names. That person is called “you” here. A licence cannot be shared, split or used by several people in turn. For a team, write to hello@foundry44.dev: team licences are quoted on request.
A client you build a project for does not need a licence of their own to run, host or keep that project. They need one to take the components out of it and use them elsewhere.
What you own
The components the licence covers depend on the offer you bought:
- Library. Every Pro component published on the day you buy.
- Lifetime. Every Pro component published on the day you buy, and every one published after it for as long as Foundry44 publishes components.
Each covers the component in every format Foundry44 ships it in (React component, script, embed, prompt for an AI assistant), and its fixes and new versions, for good. The Library and Lifetime offers also bring the Pro components to the MCP server.
What you may do
- Use the components in any number of end products: websites, web apps, mobile and desktop apps.
- Build end products for clients, and sell or hand over those end products, components inside, with no credit to Foundry44.
- Change the code, combine it with your own, and keep it in private repositories.
- Give the code to an AI assistant (through the prompt, the MCP server or by pasting it) to fit it into, change or debug your end products.
What you may not do
An end product is a site or an app whose value lies in more than the components. Outside one, you may not:
- Sell, give away, share, sublicense or redistribute a component, changed or not, alone or in a bundle.
- Put a component in a product others use to build their own: a template, a theme, a starter kit, a UI kit, a component library, a design system offered to others, a site or page builder, or a course.
- Publish a component's code where others can read it: a public repository, a gist, a code playground, a package registry.
- Share your account, your access token or the files you downloaded with anyone.
AI
Using an AI assistant on your own end products is allowed, as said above. What is not allowed is using the Pro components, or anything taken from them (code, prompts, settings, demos), to:
- train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model, or build a dataset;
- build or feed a tool, a generator, an agent or a service that produces or offers components to others.
This aims at competing products only. The public pages of the site stay open to search engines and AI crawlers; this clause covers what you receive as a buyer.
Ownership
The licence gives you the right to use the components; it does not sell them. The components, their demos and the Foundry44 name stay Copyright (c) 2026 Foundry44, all rights reserved except what this licence grants. The name and logo are covered by the licence page.
If the licence is broken
If you break this licence, it ends, and you must stop distributing the components and remove what you published against it. End products delivered before the breach keep working.
You then owe Foundry44 the price of the licences that would have been needed: 79 € (the Lifetime offer's price) for each extra person who used your access, and for each copy of a component given or published against this licence. A court may adjust that sum, and Foundry44 keeps the right to seek redress for further harm.
Warranty
The components are provided as they are: test them in your project before you ship it. As far as the law allows, Foundry44 is not liable for indirect damage arising from their use, and its liability is limited to the price you paid. None of this limits your rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity of digital content.
Law
This licence is governed by French law, and the courts of Paris hear any dispute, unless the law of your country gives you, as a consumer, a protection or a court of your own. It may change for future purchases; a purchase stays under the version in force on its day. Questions: hello@foundry44.dev.
