What it does
Pixel Trail is a cursor effect ready for your AI assistant, React or plain JavaScript, with no dependencies. Also called cursor trail or image trail.
Moving the mouse across a section lights up a row of square pixels, or flickering characters, along its path; they dim one after another into a short trail. The text above stays sharp and selectable, and reduced motion turns the trail off.
With Pro
The AI prompt, the React component, the plain JavaScript file and the embed come with Pro, along with the live demo. Every setting is optional: with none, you get the effect as the preview shows it.
