# Stack Button

> A button lifting off solid stacked plates that lean with the pointer.

Stack Button is an animated button ready for your AI assistant, React or plain JavaScript, with no dependencies. Also called stacked shadow button, layered button, 3d press button or offset shadow button.

At rest it already sits on half its stack. Hover lifts it off a stair of solid offset plates leaning away from the pointer; a press drives it down through the stack until it sits flat, and it springs back up with a small overshoot.
