# Split Flap

Split Flap is a text animation ready for your AI assistant, React or plain JavaScript, with no dependencies. Also called flip board, solari board or flap display.

Each character sits on its own tile and flips flap after flap, left to right, until it lands on its letter. Change the text and the board flips again from what it shows. Screen readers hear the words once, without the clatter.
