Scroll Expand is an image animation ready for your AI assistant, React or plain JavaScript, with no dependencies. Also called scroll media expansion or expanding hero.

A picture or video waits as a rounded card in the middle of the screen. Scrolling holds it in place while it widens and its corners straighten, until it fills the view. The content inside never stretches, and reduced motion shows it full size.
