# Glyph Field

> A field of ASCII signs that bends along your cursor.

Glyph Field is an animated background ready for your AI assistant, React or plain JavaScript, with no dependencies. Also called ascii hover, ascii field or character field.

Small plus signs and dashes cover the section at rest. Sweep the pointer across and they turn into strokes that follow your hand, flare in the accent color and fade back. Taps work on touch screens; reduced motion only lights them.
