# Ethereal Shadow

> A soft grainy shadow that billows behind your content like smoke.

Ethereal Shadow is an animated background ready for your AI assistant, React or plain JavaScript, with no dependencies. Also called ethereal shadows, smoke background or shadow overlay.

A large, blurred shadow fills the background, its edges folding and drifting like mist under a fine film grain. It drifts on its own, or holds still until the cursor sweeps through and bends the folds. Text stays crisp on top.
