# Electric Mist

> Threads of electric light crackle through a dark mist.

Electric Mist is an animated background ready for your AI assistant, React or plain JavaScript, with no dependencies. Also called electric background, plasma lines or energy mist.

Fine threads of blue light ripple diagonally across a dark ground, like lightning seen through fog. It drifts on its own, or holds still until a cursor or finger moves over it. Reduced motion shows one still frame.
