# Cursor Label

> A small pill rides along with your cursor and names the click.

Cursor Label is a cursor effect ready for your AI assistant, React or plain JavaScript, with no dependencies. Also called cursor follower, custom cursor or hover label.

Hover a card and a rounded label pops up beside the pointer, drifting after it with a slight lag. Each link can say its own word, like Play or Open. It stays out of the way on touch screens and for screen readers.
