# Color Grid

Color Grid is an animated background ready for your AI assistant, React or plain JavaScript, with no dependencies. Also called background boxes, hover boxes or skewed grid.

A fine grid leans back across the background like a tiled floor. Each cell the pointer crosses flushes with a soft colour that slowly fades, leaving a trail behind the gesture. Visitors who prefer less motion see only the cell under the pointer.
