# Arch Split

> A photo splits into pill windows that slide into the next photo.

Arch Split is an image animation ready for your AI assistant, React or plain JavaScript, with no dependencies. Also called arch slices, split image gallery or window slices.

Scroll and a full-frame photo draws in, then splits into tall rounded windows, each showing another picture. The row slides past, and the last window grows until a new photo fills the frame. With reduced motion the first photo stays whole.
